I genuinely do not understand how he keeps doing it. Apparently the initial surge was just a grift on German tax codes, fair enough (not really but it explains it), but that’s supposedly not the case any more.
It started out as tax fraud, but he genuinely started to enjoy directing and making movies (unless there is some sort of tax fraud scheme that we don’t know about).
