    After 17 years of contributing to Reddit, I got perma-banned after a few warnings about some mild stuff. All of these infractions were immediately after the IPO.

    1. Showing my No Kings med bag including personal self defense in a concealed carry, no CCW state. Gotta be careful out there.

    2. Suggesting a good “Christian nation”would break the Gaza aid blockade for the children.

    3. Suggesting a large limo company in Texas was being ghetto as fuck by strapping on window AirCon units to the sunroofs and calling themselves “luxury”.

    The final blow…

    1. Describing what 4chan (with an emphasis on /b/) was like in the early 00’s. I’m a little trigger shy so let’s do this… everyone who joined /b/ was a (homosexual f word), if you had been around a few years you were an Old (homosexual f word), if you were new you were a New (homosexual f word) and EVERYONE knew, New (homosexual f word’s) couldn’t triforce.

    That last one contained explicit language but the poster wanted to know what 4chan was like. I tried my best to answer and that was just a time capsule too far.

      A pretty fucking mild anti-religious comment (“all religions are systematic rape and exploitation”) got me permabanned. I Included the big 3 from the Mediterranean sea, so I definitely pissed in some American Christo-Nazi’s bud light. Which is just more piss.

    there was a great german-speaking instance, feddit.de . unfortunately the admin of that site vanished and there was no backup-admin, and within 3 months the site became dysfunctional and broke. then there was like 4 months of pause. then somebody make a new instance (feddit.org) to replace the old one. i was one of the people strongly advocating that a new instance be made, because the old one was great, lots of good content :)

    the new instance (feddit.org is a horrible domain name btw because .org reveals nothing about it being german-speaking) is unfortunately very shit. it’s 90% CDU-bashing (a political party in germany) and it SUCKS. People need to, you know, get a life or some contact with reality. i don’t like CDU either but if 90% of your content is hate towards another political party, you should seriously re-evaluate whether that’s how you want to spend your time. there’s few memes, and they’re fine, but it’s 90% politics. that obviously drives every visitor away immediately, so the instance can’t grow either. there needs to be less politics on it. or it’s a doomed project. i’ve already given up on it, honestly, and am considering making my own instance with the rule that political-party-bashing posts should not be more than 10% of content.
