    I didn’t consider the goat/dog parallel. I wonder if it was a conscious choice or a slight oversight on the writers’ part.

      If there’s something I’ve learned from the work of Vince Gilligan it’s that there are rarely oversights on the part of the writing. Everything has a meaning.

        I agree… but also I wonder if they’re even going to revisit this detail with the new season 2-3 years later.
