    You literally propped up an argument (in the first half of your comment) that wasn’t made by the other person so that you could knock it down.

    All they did was call it agitprop. You assumed/made up a bunch of things about that commenter.

    So no. You are wrong. They never made a strawman argument, and claiming that they did means that you don’t know what a strawman is in the first place.

    I wish people passionate about this sort of thing were just a little smarter, because damn, you did a great job at making us look stupid to people who actually know what words mean.

      The OP comic is the context in which I’m responding. It itself establishes the commentary on the disparity between the global north and south.

      All they did was call it agitprop.

      This is literally the straw man… There is no logical basis in insinuating a geopolitical conspiracy against the west simply because a comic posted on Christmas is critical about our consumption practices.

      There’s a whole fuckload of jumping to conclusions here.
