    This year we put ours outside the living room window.

    It was causing too many problems with the cats.

      What happened last year? I have no cats or Christmas trees, so I have no idea what could even potentially happen.

        Cats like to climb things and something with lots of low branches sure is inviting. Results can include a knocked over tree, bent branches if you have a fake tree, and knocked off ornaments.

        They got territorial over it. One steals branches, the other likes to nest in the blanket underneath.

        It was starting fights then the male cat sprayed on it and that was the last straw.
