The last Molyneux game that I played was the first Fable. I liked it and skipped everything since then. If the reviews are good I might take a look at his new game.

I enjoyed Black & White quite a bit. As a spin on a classic Civ / RTS, it was both novel and fun. Buggy as hell, but when you’re on the bleeding edge, its inevitable.

But holy shit did this man over-promise. Just… constantly. Dude put a pizza in the oven and insisted he’d be pulling out dinner for twelve at Le Bernardin. Which is a shame, because when his games had a bit of time to mature - Fable II was imho, a much more developed game than the original - they really hit their stride. But the dude repped his game like six Sam Altmans in a trench coat. There was never any hope that he could deliver on his promises, and you can only get suckered so many times - no matter how much fun the final product - before it chaffes to give that guy any more of your money.

Yes, but the compatibility is still in question for most titles

Fable 2 still has many graphical problems

It’s somewhat playable on the Xbox 360 emulator Xenia. I play the canary version on my Steam Deck and it works but has some stuttering and some graphical glitches, but is still mostly playable.

I haven’t played it in some months, so new updates could have made it even better and might be better on better hardware.
