This is a post intended to be about mental health, but thank you for your input.

The question has never been whether this too shall pass, the question is whether you are a passive observer or an implementing hand.
To me personally it’s an uplifting reminder for when my mental health is poor. You can interpret it as a political statement if you like; for me it’s a reiteration that scars will fade.
Except by the time it does, so will have I.

Honestly wouldn’t place bets on that. Member of “the forgotten generation” here (and I simply cannot express just how apropos that moniker is for me personally), and I’m already over seven years beyond when my father passed. Granted, he could be a heavy drinker at times, and liked to smoke a pipe while I do neither, but still…
