The administration is already murdering people and blatant lying about it despite video showing the truth. They dont need an excuse to escalate, they are already escalating. The administration doesnt care about protests and just attacks them - both in propaganda and quite literally as we’ve seen in MN and countless other situations now. And the SC is just defying the actual law and supporting it.
What other option is being presented that is reasonable and realistic that actually prevents fascism? I hate that we are at this point, but I am not seeing an option aside from “fight back”. Well, one that doesnt just speed run to an uncontested fascist regime at least.
My hope, though so far haven’t heard about it, is that the unrest spreads and the tools the administration have to force the issue (ie army, national guard, etc) refuse to carry out unlawful owners.
But it doesn’t seem to be heading that way. The administration has a level of support that can only be explained away as the result of decades of propaganda.
Didn’t the Trump administration or guy who wrote project 2025 say that the revolution will be bloodless only if the left allows it? Folks sorry but we are at civil war. But unfortunately only one side is fighting the other is standing by while they break in doors take civilians and and murder American citizens. Peaceful protest will not stop this. Trump administration will continue until someone fights back. They want to cancel elections and rule indefinitely. Eventually we will have to fight back.

More civilian deaths could result in a swing in public opinion outside of Minnesota, but I would hate that to be the strategy.
