Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37.
No criminal history. A lawful gun owner with a valid conceal carry permit.
I haven’t commented on any of the content of this story until now.
Pay very close attention the the ‘agent’ wearing the grey coat, with his back to the camera before he turns around and walks towards it holding a gun.
He goes in hands empty, retrieves the gun from the suspects waistband, at the small of his back, and leaves before the first shot is fired.
Every shot was fired, by federal agents, at an unarmed individual. Plain murder.

multiple angles synced up together (this ones being updated as new angles come in)

Dude had a conceal carry permit from the county Sheriff, and was monitoring illegal behavior of armed thugs. When things escalated he still sought to help others before drawing his weapon. Then he was murdered while being attacked by 7 other people.
He was the fucking definition of a 2A person. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Alex_Pretti
So if I protect someone at a protest while I have my gun and get attacked I am a 2A person? I don’t want to be lumped in with them.
I don’t think you have a strong understanding of the Second Amendment, or you’re arguing in bad faith.
Its the difference between someone being a “2a person” vs just excercising their second amendment right. When I or the people I know hear “2a person” those are the people with two dozen guns, who log on to social media after every school shooting to fight any regulation, who join up to militias with a bunch of white supremacists, who argue for the reversal of the Machine gun ban and against any possible gun regulation.
I am just using the tools and rights the constitution affords me. If I exercise my first amendment people don’t call me a 1A person. If everyone including the cops disarmed tomorrow, I wouldn’t cry, I would rejoice.
Ah, so you are arguing in bad faith. Noted.
