Just gonna float the idea out there that you should assume that everything you do online or via a cell phone can be and is being watched. For all those privacy minded folks out there, take a hint from Goodfellas and don’t ever talk over the phone about anything you want to keep private (unless you can find a payphone, I guess). That goes doubly so for internet forums.

Bro, you gotta lock your phone in a farraday box and put it in the laundry room if you wanna get real.

Dont talk around these things, figure out how to limit your contact with them.

You should not talk around anything really. Phones don’t stop recording you just because you put it in a farraday cage…it holds temporary files and uploads them once it’s back online. This goes for Tv’s, doorbell cams, your gaming systems, your kid’s playpad, a lot of modern cars,…all of it was leveraged to record your behavior and it never stops doing it.

Yeah, exactly. Thats why my phone is in the laundry room as well as in the farraday cage. My TV is not on the network, and all devices are dumb or Linux.

I suppose my PS5 controller is a risk though. Oh well, maybe Im not perfect.
