The bike route I take to work in Vancouver has a concrete barrier, but it doesn’t stop ebike riders from silently sneaking up and nearly knocking me off my bike, and it doesn’t stop the uber eats guys driving on the sidewalk to their pickup locations. I agree infrastructure is important, but the enforcement for public safety is severely lacking.
Build bike lanes with a physical barrier between the bikes and the cars, and I guarantee you that will end immediately.
