Why? It’s you Americans that are the Nazis now is that satisfying?

On my own note i loved the first scene of IB but hate the rest of the movie. The Basterds themselves were complete morons and their mission would have succeeded if they had stayed out of it

The rest of the movie didnt live up to the first scene. I thought the main characters were disappointing, they hype up this massive scary bear Jew and it’s tiny Eli Roth who can’t act worth a damn. Then they go to a party with Nazi high command, pretending to be Italian while not knowing Italian when half of high command speaks Italian. All their deaths were because of their stupidity, their plan to kill hitler would have gone off without a hitch if they had stayed home and let the woman burn the Nazis. I also think lining up Tarantino and Brad Pitt ruined Tarantino current work. Brad Pitt is a pretentious and horrible person. So is QT honestly.

But yes IB just didn’t work for me, hated the casting and hated the main characters

The first step of being not a moron is to recognize that not everyone in the same country has the same political positions

Why do you assume I’m an American? And why would it make any difference anyway? A fascist is a fascist. Not all Americans are fascists, just like not all Germans or Italians were fascists.

      their mission would have succeeded

      Didn’t they though?
