I think for me it’s the harsh confrontation with how your partner (assuming they’re a uterus haver) can get pregnant while you can’t. It feels like something out of reach and then yet always visible as a painful reminder. At least that’s what it’s like for me.
I want nothing more than being able to get pregnant (and to do so actually too), but alas.
