While debating H.R. 1028, the “Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act” in the House Judiciary Committee on 3 February, Wyoming Republican Representative Harriet Hageman declared the term cisgender to be a “made-up word”.

“Cisgender is a made-up word. That means nothing,” Hageman said. “Do not call me cisgender. I am a woman.”

Rep. Hageman went on the declare that the term “epitomises the Left’s ongoing effort to rewrite the English language in order to change the debate and destroy civil order”.

Didn’t you hear her, dammit?! She’s a woman! Not cisgender, not heterosexual, not human…not even an earthling. A WOMAN!

      all my homies hate neologisms

I prefer to only use words coined in the 17th century or earlier

“internet” is a made-up word that means nothing, it’s just an attempt to rewrite the English language to destroy civil order

Sorry, slight clarification: Internet is a portmanteaux word. So it is a made-up word made-up of two different made-up words.
