The trash he talks about HDTV Test and Project Farm among other resources I trust is aggravating.
One example he bought the knife sharpener Consumer Reports recommended highest and I bought the one Project Farm recommended. Fast forward several years and he’s constantly bitching about needing to replace knives every few years because the metal is so bad. Totally ignoring that electric knife sharpeners are known to ruin knives due the heat generated. I’ve pointed out a few times I still have all the same knives and they work great.
To be fair his knives are generic stamped knives with “made in China” printed on em and we buy Wusthof mostly.
