Valheim if you want something newer
Valheim is considerably demanding imo, have to play the game at 1080p to get a decent and consistent frame rate on my 5700 XT
for the 2nd requirments, I guess it falls into any of these categories
- old games (e.g. HL2, Doom2016)
- indigames (e.g. Hades, Cuphead)
- 2D games (e.g. Disco Elysium)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (emulated)
EVE Online. still after all these years (23) it’s still a beautiful game that I god damn am still addicted to.

The Fox engine was another kind of black magic
For real, I feel like the konami drama kind of overshadowed this aspect. Yes it’s a shame metal gear died, but kojima isn’t dead and still gets to make games. But the fox engine? That’s the true tragedy.

Konami fired Kojima because MGSV was apparently way over budget and way too late. Many people say MGSV is unfinished. Afterwards Konami released some weird survival battle royale type abomination using the Fox engine called Metal Gear Survive which I think they took down a year later, and that was it.
Or did I just get metal gear’d
