    Saw that. Looked it up in case it was me who had been misusing it my entire life (fortunately, i had not) but the etymology was interesting.

    Middle English chokkefull, probably from choken to choke + full

    Pretty sure they didn’t have push lawnmowers like we do, what else has a choke?
