    As a kid I thought you would just get free help if you were disabled. Surely the guy missing a hand doesn’t have to still cook and clean but it’s just harder? And people are understanding for a while, until they basically say “alright that’s enough of that, stop being disabled and help out.”

      You do get some help, but it’s behind fifteen walls and three staircases (elevators? Fuck you) and they’re currently trying to fuck even those scraps up.
