I started watching a lot of home-improvement type videos on YouTube, and suddenly since then all the ads now assume my dick is horribly bent and doesn’t work, and that I uncontrollably shit and piss myself.
It’s so pervasive I can’t even watch YouTube on my living room TV with my young kids around because I would have to explain way too much to them.
A few years back I dived in to men’s mental health on youtube. My husband and I were in a rough patch and I just wanted to see some content created by men to maybe reach/understand him better.
the aglo went… bananas. I couldnt believe how fast shit went to a scary and innapropriate place. Nothinh was helpful in tje end.
I also watch a lot of home improvement videos on YouTube, and I’ve never seen one of these ads that you speak of. I think there may be some sort of cross-watching or other things going on in your life that you are either unaware of or unwilling to admit on the internet…

You’re in the explore tab and looking at a “popular” list. This is like looking at a top 50 list and being upset you don’t like the top 5 songs.
The top 50 list is actually why I was there, I like to check it occasionally as I do like pop and some mainstream hip hop. Previously this popular section was just some hip hop podcasts/ videos that I ignored, but at least it was somewhat based on my music so it’s not purely top 50 on the app, idk why it threw this one at me.
I don’t get podcasts on my front page, clicked on podcasts and even “popular” didn’t get anything like that. Joe Rogan and some other nonsense. Do they know you are a guy? That would be even more disturbing somehow, if they are only showing this to men.
This wasn’t on the home page it was on the explore page, where it shows the top 25, new releases, trending etc.
