The length of someone’s hair has to do with people’s internal prejudices about them… unfortunately.

You’re calling this guy bigoted for just pointing that out with a mild distaste for hippies. Now, imagine the viewpoint of someone who actually holds hateful disdain for long-haired fellows and we begin to see how we may be beholden to at least some societal congruence - at least if we want our message heard.
