I don’t think giving people the ability to filter stuff is enough. Deeper and deeper layers of repeated inside jokes filling up a community takes away all the air for other types of content, and the community becomes actively hostile towards any newcomers.
It seems like the question is: is this community only for r/silksong users, or is it meant to be the Silksong community for the Fediverse? Either is fine, but if it’s the earlier I’d really prefer having a separate community for actual discussions about the game.
