The White House posted a photo of Trump alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of Personnel Dan Scavino, and other administration officials on its X account on Saturday evening. The photo shows a makeshift room surrounded by black curtains and multiple maps of the region.

Jesus H Fucking Christ. This is a security violation, severe damage to national security, complete incompetence and insult to all of us who take national security seriously of epic proportions.

Also leaving couch fucker in vice president actually in charge in the situation room is such a dereliction of duty.

Bad math/geography, but Trump just wants his comfy house with his toadies and food he knows and being surrounded by people he already knows. He hates the white-house, he hates the offices and professional setting, he absolutely would run World War 3 from a couch surrounded by takeout boxes if he could. He takes NONE of this seriously, it’s just roleplay pew pew time for him.

There’s an alarming chance that we may all die because a fat old stupid man with mental health issues and a personality disorder decides he’s bored with having to do all this even from his own home and tunes out or starts pushing random strategic buttons.

Airforce one is equipped to be a proper mobile presidential command center. And it is a secure space.

This is your take from the whole situation? Security violation? Not unprovoked attack, the numbers of dead people including children? Would it have been better if he was in a congress appointed bunker.

Fuck yankistan. You show how you’re pathetically shallow and lack empathy are every passing day.

The idea is that if there were appropriate checks on his power, he wouldn’t have attacked Iran. So the former is a mechanism to achieve the latter. This article is part of a larger system of signalling mechanisms that previously worked to reduce the number of countries blown up by the US, but which is collapsing in light of deteriorating socio-material conditions.

Yes, that is the point of this article and the reason we’re all commenting on it. Idk why you’re so upset. Did you come here to bitch that someone wrote this article? Or that we’re talking about it?

I only wish we could have gotten a TV with a live Xitter search feed for “Iraq” in the background again. Yes, again. (Apologies for YouTube link.)

Look it wouldnt surprise me if the US military does its ‘own thing’ and keeps the president in the loop - but i doubt he had anything to do with anything from anywhere, except get a photo taken.

The point is that it’s not secure, so other people could snoop, especially since it’s a semi public club.

Oh I know, I was just doubting the fact that his room was probs just a photo shoot with not much useful info even if anyone was snooping.
