    The military does this as well. I got put on a rifle detail in basic, 6 of us has to shoot several cases of ammo. If the company didn’t use the ammo they would not get it for the next training session.

        Because if you have 2 cases of unused ammo they will cut the amount you get next time by 2 cases and you may not have enough.

        The ammo can’t be saved/hidden … because it is military weaponry. It has to be turned back in or used (spent casings turned in).

          May not have enough for what? This is just a complete waste of money. They litteraly set it on fire in order to get the same amount as last year.

            They may not have enough for the rifle range if they get shorted. No, they fire the ammo, they shoot the ammo and turn in the spent casings.

              They seem to have enough to waste at the end of every year so i think they get plenty. Wasting it is just stupid. And idk how to respond to that second sentence. It seems so ai, its not like i litteraly meant they were catching ammo on fire jfc.
