Normal people, who like politics. We like to watch political movies like Star Wars and read political books like A Song of Ice and Fire. We’re the majority in every country and every culture.

You must be confused, Lemmy is for the most part dead, you don’t represent most people, you represent a tiny group of leftwing progressives who put weird shit like

Goddess of madness and rebirth. Excrucian Strategist. Capitalised They/Them. Anarcho-Antireal theorist.

        In their profiles.

You’re not most people so don’t even think of responding on behalf of them.

Most people went back to reddit after realising this place was full of left wing weirdos

Well I think you’ll find that in addition to politics, most people like progress. They want society to become better over time. Better technology, better culture, better art, better governance. Most people are progressives, at least in theory. Now, most of them don’t act like they like progress, and they don’t act like they like politics either, but they do. And if you can avoid triggering any thought terminating cliches and speak to them logically in language they understand, they’ll tell you that they support socialism, environmentalism, queer rights, racial and gender equality, voting reform, and many other left wing policies. The trouble is just that they don’t want to put any thought or effort into how society is going to achieve that. But they like it in theory.
