The post was deleted, but I was able to access it exploiting the fact that the deletion didn’t federate with another instance.
Should I repost it here? Serious question, it’s yucky but without the content of the post it’s really hard to say something about it.EDIT: archive link to the post. Discretion is advised.
Anyway. I’ll focus on the claims made by the user, instead of assuming if he is or isn’t a paedophile.
What people like that mod, or Richard Stallman, don’t get, is:
Beyond that all that talk about desire is a big red herring because attraction is shit inside your head, what matters is what you do.
I won’t comment about remocrats vs. depublicans because I don’t care about USA internal politics.
Dude the mental gymnastics this guy tries to put you through to try and justify trying to make leftists okay with him wanting to fuck 15 year olds is insane. And you can tell he thinks he’s WAY smarter than he actually is.
Well, I learned something new and horrible today
Yeah. His opinions about software freedom are fairly solid, but when it comes to children and sexuality, he’d do everyone a favour if he simply shut up.
In his defence, though, I don’t think that he’s a paedophile; I think that he’s just trying to extend his views about individual freedom into sexuality, but he’s too socially clueless to get it right. And then the whole thing blew out of proportion because of both witch hunters and people exploiting it for political opposition.
Very good software people are not very good social people.
I’m ok with it just being mostly gone, but the choice is yours.
I’ve archived it. I think that it’s important for transparency.
Sadly I couldn’t find the content of the comments of the two banned users. That modlog calling everyone “troll” strongly hints PTB, though.
I appreciate that. On Reddit, it can be difficult to follow the breadcrumbs as stuff just gets nuked and we have to blindly trust OP.
