First of all, welcome!

If you haven’t already, please read the sidebar for the rules etc. If possible, alongside posting a generic YouTube or Bandcamp link to a song, if you could post links to other services you use (such as Spotify) then it makes it easier for people to listen on their preferred platform. This isn’t essential, but I think it makes it easier for everyone to access the music and listen the way they want to.

An alternate post structure myself and @Myr@lemmy.world use, which I think looks the nicest, uses the image post format (with the album cover as the image) and links to the relevant platforms at the bottom of the text body. See one of my posts for reference. Again, not essential, just helps keep things uniform.

And if you want to be a real saint, you could remove unnecessary parameters from links 😉 (though I don’t expect everyone to go to that much trouble).
