KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed Wednesday to a limited ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow, as U.S. President Donald Trump suggested during a call with the embattled country’s leader that he consider American ownership of Ukraine’s power plants to ensure their long-term security.

Trump told Zelenskyy that the U.S could be “very helpful in running those plants with its electricity and utility expertise,” according to a White House statement from Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security adviser Mike Waltz that described the call as “fantastic.”

Trump suggested “American ownership of those plants could be the best protection for that infrastructure,” according to White House officials. The idea was floated even as the Trump administration looks to finalize an agreement to gain access to Ukraine’s critical minerals as partial repayment for U.S. support for Ukraine during the war.

    Dear President Zelenskyy,

Do not accept this deal. This is the worst deal in the history of deals.

Somebody PLEASE get Zelenskiy to understand that Putin & Trump are committed to butchering ALL of Europe, & that “playing pattycake” with them isn’t rational, strategic, or even slightly valid!!

The reason that Trump wants Canada and Greenland is so that a pincer between Trump & Putin can DESTROY Europe, leaving only-them as world “kings”.

SOMEBODY GET HIM TO UNDERSTAND THIS ISN’T THE US of A THAT HE’S DEALT-WITH IN THE PAST, please?!

( I’d also ask that someone communicate to him that sooner-or-later Trump’s going to have him as a guest in the US, … & just arrest him, to hand-over to Putin, probably later-this-year, the way things are going )

    Trump+Musk is Putin’s Apprentice & Accomplice.

This has been setting-up for about 4 decades…

IF Zelenskiy won’t understand, THEN … Ukraina’s lost.

Nah, agreeing to this is a five parallel universes ahead of trump politics ftom Zelensky. You see, the power plant in question is already taken by russians. So, in potential talks about it you must compare the US ownership over it with russian ownership, not with ua ownership. To get russia to concede a taken asset just as a gesture is not on the table. However if somehow it happens (it wont, its just a trump-gpt hallutinating), ua will get energy from ir and paper’s title will be “russia secedes territory control to US”. All around win win for ua, probability is close to 0 and Zelensky gets a free pass on talking " yes" to some trump bs.

What is the incentive for the US to provide enough power at reasonable prices? Why does Trump think that Ukranians don’t know how to operate their own power plants and need utility expertise?

No: Trump, being Putin’s ally, wants to be able to GUT Ukraina ( He’s already accidentally spoken of an “agreement” with Russia being Ukraina’s surrender ), & Europe.

With him having direct legal-control of Ukrainian-infrastructure, he can hamstring Ukraina legally, helping Putin.

This is unholy-war, in action, we’re seeing.
