I posed this question in the SXC room and thought I’d ask again here-

Do you ever use your wonder picks for cards you plan to trade away?

The other day I saw multiple picks with popular full arts as 2 of the 5 available cards and I was very tempted to spend some of my tokens to try for them even though I already have them. What’s your strat? Are you using them to complete the Dex, build decks, to accumulate powerful cards, or something else?

    Since trading launched I feel less pressure to use Wonder Picks for cards that aren’t extremely rare. Basically if it can be traded for then I’m not usually using Wonder Picks for it because presumably at some point I’ll be able to get one through trading.

    Maybe my approach will change when the change to Shinedust as the trade currency goes live. Right now Wonder Picks are the only way we can acquire high rarity cards without pulling them ourselves, so that’s what I prioritize.
