My week’s going great! Online food shopping is going to arrive tomorrow night and I finished cleaning up the house 😃
Finally got a job after almost 5 months of being without. Tens of thousands of financial damage to repair, but I can finally get started. My whole retirement is wiped out at fifty. Probably some ugly tax implications. But we’ll make it.
Congratulations!!! I had to pull out a bunch of my 401k a few years ago as well. Now I have $50k at 50 myself. I feel ya. ❤️

Finished holidays and went back to study for september’s exams session. I’ve made up my mind to use Lemmy more and not just as a substitute for the daily dose of doom-scrolling.
Got Covid, also trying clean THC out of my system cold turkey, learn i have a dairy allergy (not lactose intolerance), kind of depressed, considering starting AA, having an internal philosophical conflict with social media and the people on it. Pretty standard stuff. What about you?
Covid definitely going around here. My niece and dad got it last week. Somehow I skirted around it. (We share a house)
