Israel and the Jewish diaspora are marking Holocaust Remembrance Day, amid the ongoing war in Gaza. During the official ceremony, one Holocaust survivor defied protocol by calling for the release of hostages.
This isn’t the only genocide happening in the world, just the one with the most media attention. West Papua, Ukraine, Uyghurs in China, Sudan… The list goes on. Also, the West Papua Genocide has been going on for over 60 years now.
It’s wasn’t the ethnic cleansing of Jews that was bad, it was the ethnic cleansing of Jews that was bad.
The more Israelis who wake up to this, the better.
