    I like my Quark version:

    Quark tells Rom, "If I had a slip of latinum for variations on the "if I had a nickel" template in this post, I'd have two slips. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice."

    Seriously, though. Why do Quark and Doofenschmirtz give kind of the same vibes? I guess part of it is a Perry the Platypus dynamic with Odo.

    Refresh my memory on VOY. There’s the episode called “The Void” where they’re stuck in the void and have to re-create the wormholes to get out (and make a little Federation with the other trapped ships).

    What’s the other? The only one I can think of is the one with the psychic space whale, but I don’t recall it being called a void (and the Captain Ahab expy wasn’t native to the psychic space whale). Also, despite not remembering the finer points or the episode name, I did enjoy the psychic space whale episode.

    Which episode am I forgetting exists? lol

    Edit: Is “Night” the other episode?

      Yeah, The Void and Night were the two I was referring to. I’ve been rewatching with my kids and when we got to Night I thought “I really misremembered that episode”, then we just hit The Void and I realized I had them combined in my memory.
