The same sleep, work, and education as usual.
Hoping to finally finish the changes to orthography of my conlang. Then I need to go through EVERY SINGLE WORD and update the spellings as required. It will be a lot of work but hopefully it streamlines everything so I don’t have to keep changing it. Also changing the tense conjugations and some other affixes.
Ouch - I hate doing the lexicon before finishing romanisation + phonology for this reason. How large is the current vocab?
Core vocab is about 700 words, because my conlang creates new words from itself easily. I could probably even cut it down to 500 if I’m clever enough (don’t put money on that haha). And I did the phonology/orthography before the vocab, but when I gave it a test run, a few little things didn’t work as well as I thought they would, and it’s been gnawing at me for weeks. The new changes are definitely an improvement, so it’s just a matter of putting in the time and effort.
Cool - then it shouldn’t be too much work? (700 is still a lot, though.)

I don’t - to be frank I wasn’t even aware of it.
I started with basically no linguistic knowledge so this site helped me a lot. I recommend it, even if it’s to browse other people’s conlangs. It’s really a one-of-a-kind.
I’m going to a craft beer festival and will try to not get too drunk.

I’ve got a bunch of stuff that I need to haul out of the house tomorrow; and everything needs to go to a different corner of town, so that’ll be most of my day. I’ve been updating my 3d printer and all that’s left is firmware and final checks, so hopefully I’ll have enough left in me to get that done Saturday too.
Sunday family is coming over.

My son told me today that he is going to spend the holiday weekend with his mom. It’s a good thing as lately he has not spent much time with her. I’m sure she misses him as well.
So…
Having time to myself, I’m hoping to have some “fun” with a friend, finally spending the night with them. We’ll see where things go, but for now I am content with a physical sort of relationship 🤷🏻♀️
Edit: We just made plans to spend the evening and night together. So excited! 🥰🥰

Digging up a struggling lawn to make way for stone blocks and planter boxes and maybe a few plants in between here and there. Going to be attempting to make some stone blocks too with cement and stuff.

Might be meeting up with my weed guy for a smoke and whatever he’s philosophising or excited about this time. Sometimes it’s soccer, in which case I mostly just smile and wave; sometimes it’s interesting socio-political matters.

And in between that, probably wanting to play a game or address my growing watch list of movies / series / pro wrestling but actually just mostly bed rotting and scrolling.
Edit: think I’m actually gonna start a new run of Burnout Paradise. Doesn’t need research and wikis, maybe just a map or two. But still scratches that exploration and collecting things itch.
Edit 2: actually, now I’m thinking either Castlevania Circle of the Moon or Metroid Zero Mission.
Edit 3: so I went with Metroid Fusion first this time.
