Republicans… Dems… All brought to you by aspiring billionaire oligarchs to NOT do their job for YOU. Learn to spot the progressive agents of change, and pay close attention to who blocks them the most fiercely. The status quo is the enemy.

Yeah let’s compare effort made against trump by the left vs the entrenched democratic establishment’s effort, and try again. Like even within the party, let’s do AOC and Walz vs Schumer and Booker.

Shouldn’t that tell you something? Both parties share the same end game, they just want to go about it differently. They want to win and we have to lose to make that happen. Bernie actually wanted to fix the problems Americans deal with. None of the others think you deserve it.

They didn’t try to put trump in jail or shoot him.

      • A prosecutor, a judge and a jury were in charge, and even then, they treated him with unconstitucional special conditions, and he avoided jail.

      • A republican tried to shoot him.

I feel obligated to mention that the “republican” was a Biden campaign donor who registered to vote in the republican primaries around the same time Reddit actively had a “regiater Republican to vote against trump in the primaries” campaign.

I know what you’re trying to say. But Barney commands in army of five-year-olds. There was a story a few years back about these kids attacking someone dressed in a Barney costume because they did not sound like Barney.

Barney is more frightening than the realistic looking T-Rex

Not really. They’re kinda slow and I’m pretty sure that 6bore bear slug is gonna take care of the overgrown chicken.

Granted… said 6bore would likely take care of the fake one, but I’m not willing to find out. The horde of. Randy lovers, they’re the terrifying ones in this calculation.

And that means big bird is more terrifying than either!

It still baffles me that Cory Booker spoke through the night to inspire people…and then voted to confirm Trump appointees anyway. I do not understand what goes through these people’s heads.

Both things had about the same amount of impact, honestly.

Would you rather watch horrible people enter office without any say in it or would you rather at least get a word in and have them make promises? Even with every dem voting against they can still afford to lose 3 votes, and Mitch “The Reaper” McConnell was the only Republican to vote nay on 3 candidates.

My most generous reading of democrat inaction is that right now their only power at the federal level is obstruction in Congress. This obstruction may eventually lead to government shutdown and this would be the greatest gift you could give a dictator.

Let’s just say that some ICE agents and DOGE maniacs will keep working because they are in it for things beyond money, so to speak.

Not directly, but the democrats are a right wing bourgeoisie liberal party, so they essentially serve the interests of capital

The interests of capital eventually leads to imperialism and when that starts to crack (<- you’re here), fascism. Unless the actual socialists win.

And you know what? I don’t think socialism had a chance in yankee land. They have spent decades upon decades brainwashing the population in a highly compatible fashion. The highest point of American radical action is just some adventurism terrorist shit that doesn’t do anything. Ask Americans to actually organize and do vanguard action and they’ll screech at you, because the bourgeoisie media and education has made you an slave inside your own brain.

So yeah, democrats or whatever. Why does it matter if fascism comes in 9 years or 4 years, you guys are straight up fucked.

If you live in yankee land, emigrate your ass before you lose your ass

Imagine the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and mainstream media colluding in 2015 to boost Trump as a pied piper candidate because they thought he was “unelectable” - and Hillary losing to him.

Oh wait, that’s reality. You don’t need to imagine.

Voting harder for Democrats isn’t the solution, that’s for sure.

If Democrats wanted to take responsibility, they would’ve shifted to the left and appealed to the many countless disenfranchised voters.

I feel it’s fair to say that both major parties are traitors to the American people at this point.

Both sides are the same is a lazy attitude and doing it while there’s no alternative is criminal.

I said they are both traitors. Not that the parties are the same.

We need to demand voting and election system reform after Trump is impeached or is otherwise removed from power.

      “Imagine believing in something”

I’m as anti-conspiracy as anyone with two braincells to rub together, but simply believing that Bernie was unfairly treated and that he would have been a good choice for the country does not a simp make. It just means you had the gumption to believe in the consistency of a politician who’d spent some 30 years walking-the-walk and talking-the-talk.

The nomination was not stolen from Bernie - even getting within ~10% of Clinton was a miracle. Bernie was unfairly treated by the Dem party establishment - they did not want Bernie to win, and were not shy about that fact. These are not mutually exclusive positions.

That’s not the bad part it’s clinging to a now eighty-three year old as if he’s the only savior when he hasn’t even spent the time mentoring someone to take over his own seat much less built a movement it kind of sad.

I’m a fan of term limits so he shouldn’t even be in government anymore we need someone with fresh ideas.
