The initial draw was my understanding that the area is particularly progressive with a higher concentration of leftists (Bible belt problems,) but I also like snow and board games and shit. Plus I’m a disabled vet and IIRC I read that transit is free statewide for us which wouldn’t hurt.

And yeah, Minneapolis is fairly progressive, we’ve got some nice places like May Day Books and lots of things to do in the snow like skiing at Theodore Wirth Park ⛷
