    Conservatives don’t mean things when they say words.

    Their stated ideals are ad-hoc justifications. All that has ever mattered is ingroup loyalty.

    They think that’s all you’re doing, because they think that’s all there is.

      Government overreach to a conservative is telling them they’re not allowed to have slaves, polluted the environment, and be courteous to others.
