Russia didn't fear Hillary Clinton. “It was a relationship they were comfortable with,” some CIA analysts believed, but intelligence was suppressed. On the fall of the last great Russiagate myth

Thanks, I couldn’t find a non paywalled version of this, but definitely worth posting given how explosive a revelation this is.

There is no revelation though. It doesn’t even make sense. Why would the republican controlled house be sitting on information like this?

Taibbii is a hack. Read his Wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Taibbi. It’s full of “things” he did as a journalist, none of which is investigating or doing any journalism.

The revelation is that the Russians preferred Clinton to Trump because Clinton was a known quantity. The whole Russiagate conspiracy theory has already been shown to be complete nonsense, but people just keep clinging to it

Maybe try engaging with the facts of the situation instead of attacking Taibbi’s journalistic skills.

Yeah unfortunately Public’s copy of the same article is also behind Substack’s hard paywall, and Dem-aligned corporate media of course aren’t going to be interested in reporting on it.
