per the episode with the Hash-Slinging Slasher, when Squid gets spooked his hair grows out and it’s a dark brown/black color. obvs the show is pretty inconsistent with its “lore” so it’s ultimately whatever, but I think Squids hair in this pic is a wig or was dyed
