Has anyone else noticed this, across the fediverse, Lemmy specifically. A lot of new users, but also a lot of first posts that are very inflammatory/rage baity.

Do we have another legit influx of new users? Or do we just have some bad actors trying to stir the pot? Or maybe I’m imagining it.

                  Are you dumb? Why in god’s name do you think I would want to talk to you?

                  You know nothing about Ukraine, Donbas or even probably Russia. You wouldn’t be able to name 3 basic historical facts about Donbas if your life depended on it.

                  Hope you end up like Donbas Cowboy, Russell Bentley.

                  Bentley’s wife, Lyudmila, then claimed that Russian soldiers from a tank battalion abducted him.

                  According to the Investigative Committee, Vansyatsky, Agaltsev, and Iordanov tortured Bentley on April 8, and he died shortly afterward.

                  Vansyatsky and Agaltsev are suspected of blowing up a car with Bentley’s body in it and ordering Bazhin to get rid of what was left of his remains.

                  A good end for a tankie, eh? Imagine what was going through his mind as his fellow russians were torturing him? At least he realized the error of his ways (even for a very short moment).
