I talked it with Gemini, to be clear about english language. Today, I asked him(it?):

how to say “primo” and “prima” in english?

This AI machine replied:

Only “cousin” for both. Also, cousin is applied in all orders: first-order, second-order…

Obviously, “SURPRISE” is a small word to describe it.

Really??? I undestand that, maybe, they don’t have interest in cat sex, but… in persons??? Such a carelessness with language!

I continued. Gemini said (in spanish):

The root is in antique french “cousin” and “cousine” but they lossed the gender in english.

I asked him if I can use “cousine”, at least, to compensate it. I went far away, saying:

I don’t want to suffer with these anti-gender sillinesses of Yanquis, can I use “cousine”?

Gemini response:

No. “Cousine” is not english word. Native persons will believe that you are wrong and will fix it

“FIX”? OH, MY GOD! 😂 I can’t do it anymore. I swear I’m trying.

Habit? We NEED this gender to understand. When you have a strong-gendered language you are “translating” (house = casa, dog = perro? perra?). Your mind enters into confusion. It’s not possible for me “to think in english”.
