But I just read it and all of the author’s replies to comments and I am still only about 70% sure he’s joking. He must be though, right? He’s an undergrad at Georgia Tech.
The AI actually represents the extra energy use caused overcomplicating things by adding the coolest new thing without thinking about what it is and how it might help

If E=mc² and E=mc²+AI, it follows that AI=0. Which is an understatement because it doesn’t just achieve nothing, it achieves regression.
it’s means that either Artificial is zero, or Intelligence is zero (or both). given that we know it’s artificial, it means that it has zero intelligence
