MK World Tour actually sucks, all you do is drive in a straight line 90% of the time. It feels so soulless
hi, mkw is objectively worse than mk8dx due to the fact it has way less tracks and way less customizability. at most you’re missing out on knockout tour, which is fun I’ll admit, but its not worth $500+ dollars.

Yeah, I felt like I experienced everything MK World had to offer in about a week. MK8 DX is just massive. There’s so much variety.
I honestly prefer MK8 over world, the long straight “tracks” are really boring.

the transitional tracks are controversial. some people like them. others hate them. i dont really care for them.
basically if you like running a track 3 times, you will hate world as it turns courses 2-4 in a given cup into 1 transitional track and 1 lap instead of 3 laps in a circuit
Oh I see! Not gonna lie I like it, it kinda reminds me back in the day playing Jak X on the PS2, they have a mix of tracks blended into 1 course for a cup. Just an example, I know there’s probably other games that used that feature lol

There are still great games coming out on OG Switch. The Hundred Line and SMT: Raidou are two recent highlights.
Honestly the Switch 2 is still a pretty bad value proposition for most people (unless you really love Donkey Kong like me).

MK8 is fun but it’s more for kids. Free frown 2 player splitscreen and just role playing.
Kids that can nonchalantly play through a track of Rainbow Road without batting an eye, without drive assists also!
