IMSA is the highest sports car racing series in North America. So he will race sports cars instead of single seaters.
Good for him! He was actually quite solid in the junior categories and knowing from this season’s definitive benchmark that Albon is a fucking baller he had a tough bar set when he was in F1. I was sad to hear him retiring from racing and so I hope he does bounce back with this gig.
