Yeah, for that much surface area tweezers probably aren’t the way. Only other advice I have is to really make sure you are matching the direction of the rotation with the direction your follicles are oriented. I could maybe make a quick diagram if you want, but basically making sure the drum is spinning in the right direction relative to the grain of your hair. With all the wacky directions the hair on my face grows in I had to really fight to figure out how to best use the epilator.

Where are you using it? I tried my face once and I couldn’t get it done. I honestly think going one at a time with tweezers would have been better. You can more carefully find the angle the specific follicle wants the hair to be pulled at.

Yeah! Someone else mentioned this, and I knew it was a bit of a thing. I also know that a lot of the film was shot on location, so I’m curious if the shot was actually flipped, or maybe one of the shots was done on a set, not in the actual fridge. I read/watched some stuff about the intentional discontinuities in The Shining but this one has never been mentioned as far as I know.

In The Shining, when the family is being given a tour of the hotel fairly early in the movie, they get shown the walk in fridge. There is a shot of the door to the fridge from the hallway and then a cut to a shot from the back of the fridge looking toward the door. The hinges are on opposite sides between the two shots. Immersion ruined.

Owncast is a self hosted live streaming platform. I’m unmedicated (working on it) and work is brutal. It doesn’t help that I disagree at a deep philosophical level with a lot of the people I work with, and I’m trans sill working the job and with the people I actively transitioned around. Every day is a fucking marathon. Only saving grace is that for half my day I’m able to wear headphones and am doing something that is both very physical and somewhat creative. That alone makes me want to keep the job even though the pay is shit (the reason I’m not medicated).
