I know, but thing is I’ve been trying to apply for these kinds of jobs (like TimHortons, McDonalds, various grocery stores, .etc) for like a year now but with no luck, and so just for now (while I continue trying to find a job), I would rather accept that $12.5/h over $0.
It is not that I hate Indians or any other immigrants, it’s just that the government has been bringing in way to much for what the job market can handle, subsidizing a good portion of their wages, and also giving them a lot of money if they give these workers PR (Permanent Resident) status, so that companies are incentivized to hire these TFWs and immigrants on student visas (who mostly come from the middle east) over regular Canadians or immigrants from European countries.

Well, I was doing a CS program at Ontario Tech, but I did really badly and just didn’t manage to complete it. Apart from that, I only have my high school education. I know that’s not good though.
