I have an old android phone running lineage and I host a hotspot if I want it to have data, it’s amazing how well Android Auto works without Internet access compared to having data though.

If it makes you feel any better it still feels pretty hostile to me as well.

It’s 25’ in Virginia and that’s for hospitals and schools, maybe there’s a distance a business could enforce but honestly probably literally outside the doorframe is all they can do most places.
