Remember times, when soviet empire had bases from Kuba to Korea, a lot of bases in Europe, and stuff going on in the middle east and Africa?

Just because russia is a failing economy, and no longer has bases all over the world, that does not mean that it’s no longer imperialist country.

Authoritarian pseudo communism ruined soviet union, an then thanks to Jelcyn, neoliberalizm killed what was left.

All imperialism is bad, not matter that is russian, american, chineese, etc.

We have to remember about that.

Of course that’s not true. Russia openly saying, that it wants to rebuild soviet era imperium.

Where Europe is imperializing? Europe independent countries just started EU, economic and politics alliance, just like BRICS. EU is not responsible for the wars (Russia is, i.e. Ukraine, Georgia, Chechen war…).

Truth is simple.

For people in Europe (especially middle/east) russian imperialism is the same thing, as american imperialism to a middle east and countries in the North and South America.

We can all hate russian and USA imperialism, hate the mainstream media, but please don’t use other imperial contry as a alternative :)

Dude, I’m from POLAND. I’m from post east block country. I have a tons of friends from Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, and so on. I remember the '90s, i my parents, and a lot of older friends remember how it was under soviet occupation during the cold war.

And the truth is, that we all are very happy to be a part of UE instead of being part of russian imperialism. Look what Ukraine did, or what Belarus tried to do. That’s why russia don’t allow opposition, or independent journalists, or democracy.

So dead guy from internet, stop trying to convince me, that russian imperialism doesn’t exist, or it’s ok to be a part of russian empire, while you’re probably living in some western country, while me and my friends remember how bad it was in the past to be a russian ally.

Look on the homophobia, legalizing domestic violence, hatred towards UE and european values. In the Europe, we don’t want to live under authoritarian regime with one president and the same government for so many decades.

Same shit, or not? Wait, how many eastern journalist were killed for investigating oligarchs? Probably some.
