I’m waiting on the new X870 chipset boards to come out. Why buy an old board with a new processor?

I’m guessing that Intel’s contingency plan includes a US government bailout if they fail.
I hate how I get charged overseas transaction fees for every purchase.
Support is what makes me worry about Milk-V and their flood of RISC-V products. You see videos where somebody is trying to get Ubuntu working on Mars while using some colorful language or how the same guy purchased two Meles which were DOA and it makes me wonder how thinly spread their support must be. Or perhaps how packed the Pi Foundation and community support must be.
last firmware update I performed for my TV removed features, including the ability to see what resolution and framerate the set was currently displaying.
The first Deception game by Tecmo. A pretty basic game in concept: Invaders come in your castle, you set up traps, lure them into the traps. But- Something about the limiting view of first-person, combined with the poorly lit castle, chilling music, and dark story tone has never been replicated. Add on how you could customize your castle with extra hallways and rooms with special attributes, capture invaders to make your own monsters, or even use masks to change the way invaders react to you… mmm, now I want to play it again.
I tried playing the second, third, and Trapt, but everything after the first game switched to a more action-oriented third person view and started to shy away from the heaven/hell connection.
I wouldn’t mind if it was a game outside the Deception IP. I just want the atmosphere back.
UI designers have had a war on information density for a loooooong time.
ooh, umm. I actually haven’t played it since 2018. I can’t speak for Enhanced Edition as that came out like a month after I completed the campaign.
Why do I get the weird feeling that they wouldn’t use Xbox, but rather Zune, if they did.
Dang, I scanned the suggestions and didn’t see this one before posting!
Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2
Edit: Oh, Neverwinter Nights
Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations I can give you as each enclosure could use a different chipset. It seems that the brand does not have a good reputation for compatibility but that list is fairly old at this point. All I can say is if you find an enclosure you like, plug the model number into the raspberry pi forum and see if anybody had to add it to the quirks list.
Batman: Arkham Asylum’s free-flowing combo system was copied by many future games.
whoa whoa, I would not recommend a cheap AliExpress USB enclosure at all. As others have already pointed out there’s a whole ever-growing blacklist of partially incompatible enclosures that basically flake out whenever they feel like it. Worse yet, not every device is on the list so you frequently have to research and add devices yourself.
The last generic Inland m.2 enclosure I bought worked fine… for 1 hour. Then it disconnected and reconnected. I thought it was just random chance, until it happened again and again and again. Did the deep-dive research, found the chipset was partially incompatible and I had to return it.
DO NOT BUY CHEAP ENCLOSURES FOR EXTERNAL MEDIA ON RPI
Can we go with Egypt? I feel like they should get some more time in the history books.
Personal computers and flagship phones? Yeah you can probably use exFAT.
Video game consoles and handhelds? Dashcams? Car entertainment centers? Cheap android devices? 100% going to be FAT32 partitioned with a Master Boot Record
I love how the arstechnica article words it like you will never need FAT32 and it’s silly to consider it.
I had to download fat32format I don’t know how many times because I needed to format an extra large SD Card or USB drive for some device. Microsoft really shafted exFAT’s adoption with their licensing.
There were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many secret caves in DKC1 to try to 100%. I did try to complete DKC3, but I don’t think I achieved it.
I’m the kind of person who has no issues with moving on from a game with only 20% of the achievements/trophies unlocked after beating the final boss. If it’s not fun, it’s not fun.
I think the only two games I set out to 100% were probably Super Mario World, or Donkey Kong Country 2.
I gave FreeSO a try since it’s an open-source implementation of Sims Online, but the hookability wasn’t there. We’ve come so far from the days of Sims 1…
