I gave up years ago. When a minor character is introduced in one chapter and then is not even mentioned in over 100 chapters it may as well just be a new character at that point in my opinion. The main cast and major supporting characters has always been solid in Komi-san though.
Quite the unexpected twist at the end there. Great hook for upcoming chapters.
Expected it to be a story of him adjusting to society after his coma, and from his perspective, sudden fame. Did not expect the dystopic turn. A bit like The Truman Show, but everyone is aware of it.
Me seeing it’s a chapter with Tsuchiya:
I just noticed it as well while looking up the romaji version of the title, had a good chuckle.
I prefer using the romaji versions of manga titles unless it has a well known English title (like this one) or it’s an official translation.
Critical lack of Tsuchiya this chapter.
Swole White out of nowhere.
It’s like watching a slow motion video of two powerful magnets slamming into each other.
Tsuchiya is a gift that keeps on giving.
That felt very rushed. Or well, pretty normal for a timeskip ending I suppose, there wasn’t really much of a plot anyway. Wish we could have gotten a bit more though.
Certainly one of the endings of all time.
I guess this is the beginning of the final arc. Can’t really see how this can progress further considering Kado is dead. I hope they give the series a proper sendoff and it doesn’t go on forever with a “the Kado in mind says this is trash” shtick beyond this final script. There isn’t really any point in introducing another rival/deuteragonist, as the whole plot is built around Daisuke chasing Kado.
An unexpected and quick axe. The overarching element driving the plot got “solved” by blowing up Earth. I guess the mangaka drew themselves into a corner by solving every conflict in a few chapters, going “Haha, actually everyone is a good guy”, and not really building on the larger political conflict back on Earth.
Everyone knows the normal thing to do when pretending no one’s home is to make rocket noises.
This mangaka is a master of creating goobers.
They’re really planning for the future huh?
She’s very expressive, you can make a lot of reaction images every chapter.
Didn’t expect a Mastodon “cameo” in this weeks chapter.
Ah, I didn’t know about the Dandadumber and Kagurabachi community (I’m used to just browsing the broader manga subreddit before abandoning Reddit). I’ll crosspost each to the appropiate one. Thanks!
I hope Iriya manages to keep his mouth shut and we don’t get too much drama around their relationship getting revealed some time in the future. Still, there’s only 12 chapters left so I guess this has to wrap up somehow. Hopefully the TL can keep up the pace for the remaining chapters and finish this series without going months between each chapter.
Narita drowning his sorrows with alcohol water. Glad to see his change as a character, really didn’t like him in the beginning.
