So I don’t think we will have a repeat of the Capitol attack, instead we may have some assorted terrorist threats and attacks. Hopefully if that does happen, it will further drive them into obscurity because normal people tend to not like terrorism.

Coffee isn’t expensive or time consuming. I pay about $7 for 12oz of ground coffee, and it lasts for at least a couple weeks’ worth of brewing an 8-cup pot of fresh coffee every morning.

I suppose if you pay someone else to make your coffee it would cost more, but that would be a massive waste of money to do on a regular basis.

Saving some kind of emergency fund first is more important than not having any debts. Having money on hand is worldly power in your hand basically. If you’re debt free but broke, then you can’t deal with an emergency that requires money.

They really should develop an OS that can recognize when a nonessential driver is causing it to crash, and bypass it on subsequent reboots. If it’s not a hardware or filesystem driver then fuck it and start up without it in a warning mode.

It is a valid line of inquiry if you consider that not taking care of basic personal hygiene is a symptom of mental incompetence. We do not want to elect a mentally incompetent leader. By all visible evidence, the man has working arms and hands that should presumably be able to reach to wash himself. So if he goes around smelling like a toilet dumpster then something is mentally wrong there.

Got a PHEV for our family recently, wanted to go full EV but our region just doesn’t have enough charging stations available yet.

While going over the paperwork for the financing, the paperwork guy was talking about how the car company keeps pushing them to order EVs for their lot but they keep refusing. They don’t want to sell EVs because they think people don’t want them, because they think it just “won’t ever work” - so now I think that there may be other car dealers like that who are holding back what options consumers may have in there area. I had to drive 100 miles to buy the PHEV I wanted, none nearby.

I never got rid of my wired headphones, all I had to do was plug their jack into the USB-C dongle and plug that into the phone.

I also have bluetooth earbuds but they don’t sound as good as my wired ones, and I also use them less because of 3 other minor hassles: battery charging, my wife steals them, and my wife loses them. Wired ones have none of those issues.
