  • You’re thinking way too deep into it. It’s not like that in real life. There is no attack, no ignorance. It has nothing to do with pride. It’s just natural seeing things a million times and categorizing it the best you can. You don’t understand how much kids watch the same exact stuff over and over and over and over and over and over. Its the same with video games.

If you could spend time with your kids 24/7 then sure, you’d be fine easily knowing and recognizing every single character they’re interested in. That’s just simply not realistic though.

  • You don’t have kids. The stuff they get into can be ridiculous very easily. My experience has been paw patrol. There are a bunch of shows that have the same style, and you will see these shows a lot. Over and over and over. So much that any show that has even the slightest style as paw patrol becomes A paw patrol. The kid spiderman cartoon is a paw patrol for example.

You do learn the name of thier favorites. But you also see how much some things are the same. 8 bit Mario and Mega Man are different games, but they do look very similar to anyone working a full time job, coming home and cooking cleaning making sure everything related to your schoolwork is done, etc etc etc. Parents don’t just hang around and be best friends with thier kids.

  • I’m probably in danger of over explaining the joke, but this actually does happen. The best part about this is people will actually contact support for online stores and just say that they found an item. No concern, no questions, just hi I found this. There are people that will do this every week, for years.

New customer service agents will go through the steps, how can I help you with it? Were you looking for a different item? Etc etc. And the conversation will go absolutely nowhere because no one knows why the hell people like this do these things and the customer will never provide any information. Eventually you give up and just say that’s great! You can go ahead and buy it!

And the customer will say “ok thx” and disappear until next time. Most of the time these people never even place any orders.

  • I just bought black flag on steam for a ridiculous low price. The Ubisoft launcher is extremely painful, you have to be online to launch the game and you have to sign in every single time you want to play. (If anyone knows how to bypass that please share. I couldn’t find an exe that will skip the launcher).

Other than that, damn it’s a good game. It looks and plays like something from the end of it’s decade instead of early like it was.

It’s pretty sad seeing the dev team that created skull and bones coming up with a worse game. I feel for them. That’s a quote from a dev that says something like “we all know it’s a $30 game” so you know everyone that actually had to do work on the game are probably frustrated.

Higher management that force stupid ideas should be nowhere near games.

    E. You don’t need to crack the game. There’s a simple mod on the Nexus for Black Flag called Fullscreen Fix that removes the Ubi launcher and online requirements.
